The MPRA-RI holds numerous events each year. Events can be found on the Yearly Calendar memorandum attached below or the calendar above.  The annual events include the following:

Monthly Meetings.

​

Monthly meetings are held are held each month at the Warwick Armory and are open to members only. These meetings are led by the officers of the MPRA-RI and are for the purpose of the management of the organization. Meetings are posted on the calendar and details are sent out each month to the members.

Memorial Day March for Fallen.

​

Each year the MPRA-RI holds a memorial march that ends with an observance at the MP Memorial at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter. Details are posted to the calendar and are sent out in a flyer in advance. This event is open to all members and the public.

Annual Golf Tournament.

​

The MPRA-RI holds an annual golf tournament each year which is open to all members and the public.  The golf tournament usually takes place in the month of May.  Details are posted to the calendar and are sent out in a flyer in advance.

MPRA-RI Awards Dinner.

​

The MPRA-RI holds an annual awards dinner each year where members of both the active and retired Rhode Island MPs are honored for their service and accomplishments. This is also when the MPRA-RI  awards the Regimental Award, the Order of the Marechaussee. This event usually takes place in September and usually has entertainment as well.  Details are posted to the calendar and are sent out in a flyer in advance.
